GFO

Granular Ferric Oxide. Phosphate-removing media.
Bound phosphate is removed when the GFO is replaced. Use sparingly — over-dosing can crash phosphate to zero and trigger dinoflagellates. ROWA-phos and BRS GFO are common brands.
